Follow up:
On 6:23 p.m. Sunday evening, the following incident was reported:
Major Edwards entered an apartment and attempted to drag Darrel Baker out of the apartment. Kevin Baker, the victim’s brother intervened and Edwards kicked Kevin Baker in the face. Edwards fled and Kevin Baker called the police.

Last night, Edwards was arrested. He will be charged today at 3:30.

Falsely reported crime:
A case of sexual battery was reported earlier this month. The 20-year-old female victim claimed that a male co-worker came over to her house. She claimed she was “sexually battered.” Upon further investigation, the female admitted that it was consensual.

Arrest:
Yesterday, Thomas C. Griffin, 38, was arrested after being pulled over for driving the wrong way (southbound) on a one- way in the 100 block of Kentucky. He was arrested for a NCIC hit, a warrant in Wyandotte County for burglary theft.
